Rodric R. O'Connor

Managing Partner

Mr. O’Connor has over 25 years of experience in information technology and development within the financial services and technology sectors and has been recognized as one of InfoWorld’s top 25 CTOs. Before founding Halcyon Financial Technology in 2010, Mr. O’Connor spent 7 years as the CTO of Blum Capital Partners, an Investment management firm with approximately $3 billion of assets under management. Prior to Blum Capital Partners, Mr. O’Connor held the position of CTO at Putnam Lovell NBF, a global investment bank. Mr. O’Connor earned a Bachelor of Science (Joint Honors) in Computer Science and Accounting from the University of Manchester, U.K.

Mr. Ali has over 20 years of experience in information technology solely within the financial services sector. Before joining Halcyon Financial Technology in 2010, Mr. Ali spent 2 years as Head of North America IT at Louis Capital Markets, a broker-dealer providing execution, sales, trading and research in Equity, Commodity, Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange products. Prior to Louis Capital Markets, Mr. Ali held the position of IT Manager for 8 years at Putnam Lovell NBF, a global investment bank. Before Putnam Lovell NBF, Mr. Ali was with Merrill Lynch, where he worked in various IT departments: global email messaging, retail trade support, and institutional trade floor support. Mr. Ali earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York University.

Hugo Gonzalez

Partner, Manager of Clients Services - Southern California

Mr. Gonzalez has over 16 years' experience in information technology. As the Manger of Client Services for the west coast, Mr. Gonzalez leads Halcyon's team of senior service advisors, heads our cybersecurity audits and routinely partners with senior management to strategically plan for and deliver our client’s technology needs. Before joining Halcyon Financial Technology in 2013, Mr. Gonzalez consulted for 6 years with southern California’s largest IT service provider focused on the Legal industry. In that position, he implemented and managed systems for high-end corporate, family, and entertainment law firms.
